Winter is coming up soon...

After a fascinating weekend in Prague, where almost 1000 spectators have been at the premiere of my new slideshow "borderline" my motivation for the winter season is bigger than ever. We did not find any climbable ice yet, but in the mixedcrags Dryland and at the new crag of Benny Purner and Christian "Picco" Piccolruaz - Bruchtal - there is a lot of climbing action going on. Last days I was surprised that so many motivated ice climber are already at the crags. The time of lone fighting seems to be at its end. Maybe the reason is that the climbing gyms are more and more overcrowded and people want to head outside. I like this development, so I spend some interesting days outside with Benny, Gerry, Picco, Klaus and some other toolers. With Tension M12+ and a flash of the traverse at Bruchtal M10 I already could push my fitness a bit. Now we are waiting for ice to start the real deal..
