The king and other stories
A changeable august and a record...
The quite changeable august with for me under the sign of mountain guiding. Because my left ringfinger ist still a bit sore, the decision to skip climbing for a month was not very hard. To make sure that I won't miss any horse riding lessons I tried to constrict my activities around the Stubai and Ötztal alps and the Ortler region. I had a lot of fun to be in the mountains with motivated clients again. From "the king" (Grand Zebru) to Wilder Freiger we could get several nice moments and impressions.
Summer is slowly coming to its end - that means for me that it is time for a summary again. After a sensational winter season and a great media output I did a summary-pdf of the winter season 2009/2010 and the summer 2010. With 43 publications in different print media, 4 covers, a TV-appearance in the show "Vera exklusiv", as well as 59 publications in the Internet was the year 2010 the one with the most press in my climbing career.
